If you apply for membership or submit a founder application, additional information, including identity verification and financial details required to confirm accredited investor status, is collected and stored directly within Dealum's platform as part of that application.

We use personal information to create and administer accounts, verify applicant identity, provide our services, communicate with you, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable law, including reporting obligations connected to state matching fund programs where applicable.

We disclose personal information to Dealum and other service providers performing functions on our behalf, and to others with your consent or as necessary to comply with law, protect our rights, or in connection with a sale, merger, or reorganization of our business.

Our Relationship with Dealum

Longleaf uses Dealum OÜ, an Estonian company, as its deal management and application platform. When you apply for membership or submit a founder application, you'll be directed to a Dealum-hosted page to complete that process. Dealum's own terms indicate that information you submit there may also be reused across other deal rooms hosted on Dealum's platform, not exclusively for Longleaf. We encourage you to review Dealum's own privacy policy in addition to this one.

SSBCI and State Matching Program Data

Some Longleaf investments may receive matching capital through state Small Business Credit Initiative (SSBCI) programs in South Carolina, Louisiana, or Mississippi. If you participate in an investment that receives such matching, certain information about you or your investment may be shared with the relevant state program administrator as part of our reporting obligations. We will provide additional information about this process as applicable to a specific investment.
